Vladimir Peftiev

Vladimir Peftiev (Russian: Владимир Пефтиев, born July 1, 1957[1]) is a Belarusian businessman.

Biography

Vladimir Peftiev was born in Berdyansk, Ukraine.[1] Little is known about his early life and career.

Peftiev's business group is believed to include the following companies:

In 2010 the Ukrainian publication Delo has estimated Peftiev's wealth at USD 1bn which made him the richest man in Belarus.[5][6]

Social activities

In 2009 - 2012 Vladimir Peftiev was head of the Belarusian national tennis association.[7] During this period the Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka has risen to become WTA number 1. Azarenka is reported to have started her career at a tennis club created by Peftiev's company Beltechexport.[8]
