Vladimir Popov (animator)
Vladimir Ivanovich Popov (Russian: Владимир Иванович Попов; 5 June 1930, Moscow — 1 April 1987) was a Soviet animator and animated films director.[1] Since 1952 he was employed at the studio Soyuzmultfilm, where he worked as an animator and then director.[2] Popov initially directed films in collaboration with Vladimir Pekar, but since 1975 started working alone. He also directed several episodes of Fitil.
