Voice Tag

Voice tags are used in automated speech recognition in a voice command device, allowing the user to "speak" commands. For example, using voice commands with an automated device, such as an IVR telephone prompt or to dial a contact on a mobile phone.

Uses

• On mobile phones - One typical use is to dial phone calls on phones equipped with speech recognition. Any spoken word or words can be a voice tag, and can be used to dial a contact or in some cases, open an application.
• In cars - More and more vehicles are coming equipped with hands-free voice tag automation, for example to get directions using GPS or to dial an integrated mobile phone.
• In telephone systems - Using interactive voice response, users can navigate telephone prompts and directories using spoken commands, as opposed to dialing the same commands, although users usually have the option of dialing their commands instead of speaking them.
• In Beats - Designed specifically to be recorded on top of instrumentals This creates a tagged version of your beat and it is this version that should be played back to the public, on beat stores. These audio recordings usually contain the name of the producer or their brand. The recording repeats itself over short intervals (10 – 30 sec). Also "DJ Dops" are occasionally used ^[1]
