The women's tournament in volleyball at the 2016 Summer Olympics will be the 14th edition of the event at an Olympic Games, organised by the world's governing body, the FIVB, in conjunction with the IOC. It will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 6 to 20 August 2016.
