VueJS (commonly referred to as just "Vue") is an open-source web application framework created by Evan You[2] featuring reactive components for web interfaces.

As of today Vue.js is at over 16,000[3] stars on GitHub, over 500k downloads from npm, and over 2,000[4] users in the Gitter channel.

Laravel encourages using Vue.js for the frontend development.[5]

Laracasts ("the Netflix for Developers") has currently a whole series of lessons (currently 21) introducing and teaching how Vue.js framework can be used.[6]

Even a "Laravue" fork of the Laravel has been created by Russ Weas to allow using both frameworks immediately. It includes the Vue.js framework for the front end, and contains much of the boilerplate required for using it.[7]

News

The InfoWorld magazine mentioned Vue.js as the "top choice for building Web apps" [8]

An article in JaxEnter news magazine has been released highlighting how Vue.js compares to Angular, React or Ember, but is much easier to integrate.[9]

World

There were several Vue.js meetups held in Europe, particularly in London[10] and Paris.[11]

Releases

The current stable release of Vue.js is v1.0.20 [12]
