Vultress is the 2nd album by Australian alternative rock band Cosmic Nomads.[1] The album was recorded in 2006 in Melbourne at Atlantis Sound Studio.[2] and released in 2007. Cosmic Nomads worked with engineer Dave McCluney [2] who with 20 years experience has recorded Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds among other notable artists. The album features the heavy rock organ sound similar to that of Emerson, Lake and Palmer and includes liner notes by radio disc jockey Andrew Holborn. The band toured throughout Victoria performing tracks from their album live on stage including appearances on Noise TV SBS one at the Noise Bar Brunswick, Asylum TV on Channel 31, The Esplanade Hotel St. Kilda, Cornish Arms Hotel Brunswick, The National Hotel Geelong and Ruby’s Lounge at Belgrave. The music video of the single Cry Cry Baby was shown on ABC Rage (TV program) music video show.
