WJQY is a variety formatted low power broadcasting station licensed to Wilson, North Carolina. WJQY will begin broadcasting under the branding "Joy 100" in the fall of 2015.
History
Nondenominational Kingsmill Ministries applied for a low power radio license station in the fall of 2013 and was awarded a construction permit the following year.[1]
Fort Lauderdale, Florida station WXDJ was known as Joy 107 and used the WJQY call letters with its highly successful Adult Contemporary format from 1984 to 1993.[2][3]
