History
The station went on the air as WSFC-FM on 1964-09-01; in 1968, the station changed its call sign to WSEK. On 2005-08-09, the station changed its call sign to WKEQ-FM, and on 2005-08-18, the station changed its call sign to the current WKEQ.[2]
