WKFD has been used as a callsign twice in Rhode Island for 2 stations on the same frequency. The first was a station licensed to the village of Wickford. The second was a construction permit which never made it past that stage & was deleted on November 6, 2009.

Its transmitter was located at 19 Updike Avenue.
