The station was assigned the WRSG call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on July 3, 2000.[3]

The station began carrying the syndicated Pink Floyd program Floydian Slip with Craig Bailey on April 10, 2011.[4][5]

They also run the syndicated new music show The Spotlight with Danny Wright Friday nights at 6p & 10p. In the summer of 2012, WRSG welcomed the "Big Zach Radio Attack" hosted by Zach Perkey.
