WXRK-LP is an Active Rock and Alternative Rock formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Charlottesville, Virginia, serving Charlottesville and Albemarle County in Virginia.[2] WXRK-LP is owned and operated by Blue Ridge Free Media.[4]
Programming
The station's morning show is hosted by Charlottesville native David Dillehunt.[5] Dillehunt is also a Director, Producer, and lead singer of Indie Rock band Butterfly Vendetta.[6][7]
On Sundays, WXRK-LP airs two locally-produced speciality shows. First, "Search & Destroy", hosted by Danni Bennett, features Punk Rock music.[8] It is followed by "The Heavy Metal Double Tap" hosted by "Big Jay", showcasing various forms of Heavy Metal.[9]
