History

A construction permit was granted to Florida City Radio by the F.C.C. on February 18, 2008, to start this station. The call letters were issued on July 15, 2008 but the station didn't to on the air until Salem began its local marketing agreement with Florida City Radio. WZAB made its debut on October 7, 2008.[1]
