Waarland (West Frisian: ´t Waarland) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 6 km north of Heerhugowaard.

In 2001, the village of Waarland had 1,423 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.43 km², and contained 550 residences.[1] The statistical area "Waarland", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 2370.[2]
