Wade Manson Baldwin IV (born March 29, 1996) is an American basketball player for the Vanderbilt Commodores.
Born in the Belle Mead section of Montgomery Township, New Jersey, Baldwin attended Immaculata High School in Somerville, New Jersey and transferred to St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, New Jersey prior to his junior year.[1] He committed to Vanderbilt University to play college basketball.[2]
As a freshman at Vanderbilt, Baldwin started 24 of 35 games and averaged 9.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. He had a Vanderbilt freshman record 155 assists.[3][4]
On March 28th, Baldwin declared for for the 2016 NBA Draft, while announcing he would be hiring an agent and staying in the draft. He is a favorite of analytics-oriented scouts[5] and is expected to go within the top 20 picks.
