Waeringopterus is a genus of prehistoric eurypterids from the Silurian of North America.[1]
The genus contains two species:[2]
Waeringopterus apfeli Leutze, 1961 New York, Ontario
Waeringopterus cumberlandicus (Swartz, 1923) West Virginia
