Wagah railway station (Urdu: واہگہ ریلوے اسٹیشن ) is located in Wagah, 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) from Lahore next to Pakistan–India border. It is the last railway station in Pakistan on Lahore-Amritsar railway line.
Overview
It is a busy railway station located in Wagah. It is one of the sub-urban stations of the city which are served by commuter trains of Lahore. A large number of commuters use this station to get access to the city of Lahore.
This railway station is also used for immigration and custom of passengers who travel between India and Pakistan by the Samjhauta Express, the train that runs between Lahore and Delhi.
