Wallis Currie-Wood (born August 12, 1991) is an American actress. She plays Stephanie "Stevie" McCord in the CBS drama Madam Secretary.

Early years

Wallis Currie-Wood was born in Austin, Texas, United States.

Career

Before attending Juilliard School, Currie-Wood had experience acting in Austin, Texas[1] where she also studied violin at University of Texas String project, and Austin Chamber Music Academy.[2] While at Juilliard, she was a stage performer in productions such as Twelfth Night, The Cherry Orchard, and Buried Child.[3][4] Following Juilliard, Currie-Wood had a role in the Anne HathawayRobert De Niro comedy The Intern, and plays Stephanie "Stevie" McCord in Madam Secretary.[4][5]

Personal

According to a story by Roger Friedman, As of 6 October 2014 Currie-Wood was dating The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time actor and Juilliard classmate Alex Sharp.[6]
