Wampus is a French comic book character. The word may also refer to any of the following:

• Wampus cat, a legendary creature in Cherokee mythology that supposedly still haunts the forests of East Tennessee
• Wampus Multimedia, an American media company founded by Mark Doyon, which has released modern rock and folk albums internationally
• M.U.L.E., a seminal multiplayer video game published by Electronic Arts in 1983, which features a fictional creature known as the "mountain wampus"
• Wampus Cats aka Beale Street Wampus Cats an American Blues band.
