Wang Shijie also known as Wang Shi-chieh (zh: 王世杰, pinyin: Wáng Shìjié) (b. 10 March 1891 - d. 21 April 1981) was a Chinese politician and scholar of the Kuomintang in service to the Republic of China.[1][2]
Early life and family origins
Wang was born in 1891 in Wuchang , Chongyang County, Hubei Province during the late Qing Empire.
Biography
Wang Shijie retreated with the Nationalists to Taiwan in 1949. After arriving in Taiwan, he remained active in politics including representing China before the UN General Assembly prior to 1972.
