Dr. Wang Xiaojun

Wang Xiaojun (王晓军, 1968) belongs to the 4th generation of Chen Taiji Quan Beijing's line (Xinjia) and is one of the best known exponents of Taiji Quan in China.

Wang Xiaojun is practicing Taiji Quan and Shaolin Kungfu from 9 years.

He holds a PhD in Physical Education specializing in Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts), with thesis on Taiji Quan, in Beijing Sports University. He teaches Qigong and Taiji Quan in Yangsheng's department (health) in Beijing Sports University and former director of the School of Wushu. He also holds a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Faculty of MTC Beijing.

His masters include: Tian Qiutian (3rd generation Chen Taiji Quan Beijing's line, disciple of Tian Xiuchen), Kan Guixiang (known by the form of 36 Chen style), Men Huifeng (pioneer teacher into popular modern forms of Taiji Quan), Li Yongchang (founder of the Chinese National Wushu Research Institute and Traditional Medicine, Qigong expert medical and massage Tuina-MoAb and former director of the University Clinic Sports Beijing), Zhang Rongshi (Northern Shaolin Kungfu) and Yu Hai (Mantis Kungfu).

Wang has published several books about Taiji Quan, Qigong, Tuina-Anmo and Shaolin Kungfu, which are required reading in all Universities of Physical Education of China, as well as various articles on Taiji Quan. In addition, he has led a research program on the "effects of Taiji Quan in hypertensive patients."

In addition to his research and teaching at the Beijing Sports University, Wang teaches Taiji Quan and Qigong in No.3 Hospital of Beijing University, where he leads several research. It also offers courses in many countries, such as Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Russia and Japan.

His research and teaching Qigong and Taiji Quan has been highly recognized in China and other countries in the world, having been recognized also as the PhD in Physical Education specializing in Wushu and Taiji Quan youngest of China with a level of expertise as high.
