Wanq'uni (Aymara wanq'u guinea pig,[3] -ni a suffix to indicate ownership, "the one with guinea pigs", hispanicized spelling Huancune) is a volcano[1] in the Barroso mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,567 m (18,264 ft) high. It is situated in the Tacna Region, Tacna Province, Palca District, southeast of Jach'a Qullu and north of the Chupikiña volcano.[4]
