Wansbeck General Hospital is a district general hospital based in Ashington, Northumberland. It is one of two "low energy" built hospitals in the United Kingdom, and is the most northerly General hospital in England. Wansbeck General Hospital is part of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, the two other acute hospitals in the trust being in North Tyneside and Hexham. The hospital's Accident and Emergency Department is now a 24-hour walk-in centre, following the opening of the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington.

Most general and acute services are provided within the trust; specialist referrals are mainly made to the Newcastle Hospitals (Royal Victoria Infirmary, Freeman Hospital and Newcastle General Hospital, as well as some to Gateshead and Middlesbrough.
