WebPlatform.org is a community convened by W3C that is seeking to create an online reference of Web standards. The project is a collaboration among Adobe Systems, Apple Inc., Facebook, Google, HP, Microsoft, Mozilla, Nokia, Opera Software, and W3C, who are called "stewards" of the Web Platform project.[1]

Web Platform is an open community of developers building resources for a better web, regardless of brand, browser, or platform. Anyone can contribute to the reference, by collaborating in the wiki documentation pages (Web Platform Docs), sharing and commenting on the Web Platform blog posts, and communicating through the IRC channel. WebPlatform Docs uses MediaWiki as its platform.[2]

As of November 2015, "Web Platform Docs is in alpha"[3] testing - over three years after foundation. To date, no pledge has been made about in which century beta testing will be complete. (cf. "Internet Years") But it contains reference for Web Concepts, HTML, CSS, Accessibility, JavaScript & SVG, originally imported from resources maintained by the involved parties.

As of November 2015, the very last entry in the Web Platform Blog is over a year old.
