Wedding Ring (Russian: Обручальное кольцо) is a Russian television series filmed from 2008 to 2011. The series was awarded the TEFI-2011 in the nomination The TV feature series.

The Russian air Wedding ring initially showed very high ratings, for example, in the premiere week of the series became the most popular among the Russian audience with 7.3% and 22.6%.[1] However, after replacing the actors playing the main characters, the popularity of the TV series has fallen considerably.

Plot

The serial narrates about three different Russian people who have met in a train to Moscow. Nastja Lapina goes from a city the Luza pocket to help the mother to Vera which is imprisoned and by mistake. The girl needs to find the father, to help it with it owe a wedding ring of mother, presented to it Academician Kovalyov (her father). She should send every month 1000 dollars that mother haven't killed.

Igor — the person who wants to revenge for the parents to the same Academician Kovalyov, it goes from a small town of Borsk. Having seen Nastja, it and it feel a love inclination to each other, the train was not unique meeting place, heroes still should meet...

Passes 4 years. Nastja married for Vitja also brings up adopted son Sasha. It is found out that Olja loses all money in a casino in Turkey with the new lover and doesn't know where to take still. Olga is turned out by lawyer Denis Evgenevich and lives there with the school girlfriend — Tamara. Olja money is necessary. Soon in fund Kovalyov provincial psychologist Dima is arranged to work, Nastja feels that has fallen in love with it. It leaves to it from Viti. But Dima boyfriend Olga, they have planned to kill Nastja and to receive her riches. The plan isn't possible also to Dima leaves home, and Olga is pregnant from it.

Passes as early as a year. Olja married for Andrey, they bring up daughter Olja and Dima — Anja. Andrey considers that the child from it. Olja at all doesn't love the husband, it is bothered with monotonous life and it is started up again on searches of the rich groom. Nastja hasn't coped with Fund of a name of Academician Kovalev, the Fund has gone bankrupt also Nastja needs money. Marina (widow Kovalyov) can't forgive the Ice crust the spoiled business of the father. Vasilisa and Vitja live together, but Vitja can't forget Nastja. It says lies Gavrilov that Nastja has died, but having learned that it not so, it banishes Olga and starts to meet Nastja. Olja comes back to Andrey. That Vitja still has feeling to Nastja, Vasilisa rushes under the car. Raisa falls ill, but itself doesn't know than, she refuses to go to the doctor...
