Welland—Thorold
Welland—Thorold is a former provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada. It was created for the 1977 provincial election, and lasted until provincial redistribution in 1996. The riding was formally retired with the 1999 provincial election.
Welland—Thorold was a bastion of strength for the Ontario New Democratic Party, which represented it throughout its existence. Its last Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP), Peter Kormos, continues to represent the successor riding of Niagara Centre in the Ontario legislature.
