Wes McCauley (born January 11, 1972) is a National Hockey League referee, who wears uniform number 4.[1] He is the son of the late John McCauley (referee), a former NHL referee.

He was selected to work in the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals,[2] the 2014 Stanley Cup Finals, and the 2015 Stanley Cup Finals.

He played college hockey as a defenseman at Michigan State University,[3] and while doing such won the first Terry Flanagan Memorial Award in 1993.[4][5]
