Whinstanes railway station is a former railway station on the Pinkenba railway line in Brisbane, Australia. Constructed in the 19th century next to a branch constructed to service wharves at Hamilton, [1] the station was situated only 300 metres (980 ft) east of Doomben railway station.[2] The station was merged with Doomben station in 1977, and for a time the new station was known as Whinstanes-Doomben, until the "Whinstanes" name was dropped by the 1990s.
