The white-chested puffbird (Malacoptila fusca) is a species of puffbird in the Bucconidae family. It is one of seven species in the genus Malacoptila. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical and tropical moist lowland forests.
