WhizBiz is an Australian company that distributes the Whiz range of female urination device called the The Whiz which is popular with women travellers. Originating from Brisbane, WhizBiz came to the attention of the public in late 2005 with the launch of the Whiz Plus.[1][2] The company’s growth has given it a global presence with warehouses and shipping facilities in the UK, Canada and the USA.

The Whiz is made from medical-grade, ultra-soft, flexible plastic that is impregnated with antibacterial and antifungal agents. It also has a fluid-repelling hydrophobic agent so that it simply requires a few shakes to dry it. The Whiz has the advantage that is reusable compared to disposable devices such as the 'one use' P-Mate. The Whiz is used by women in the NATO military alliance, the Royal Military College Duntroon and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.[3] The Whiz has been independently reviewed by travellers.[4][5][6]

Uses

The Whiz is used mainly by women as a solution to being able to urinate hygienically anywhere that a male can.

Popular uses for the Whiz include camping, boating, music festivals and travelling where toilets are non existent or unhygienic. The Whiz is sometimes used by women in wheelchairs who wish to urinate without leaving their seat.[7] The Whiz also has medical applications and is used by ladies suffering from incontinence, arthritis as well as back and joint pain. The Whiz is recommended by the Independent Living Centres of Australia.[8]
