Wilczy Las [ˈvilt͡ʂɨ Ëˆlas] (German: Wolfshayn) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Warta BolesÅ‚awiecka, within BolesÅ‚awiec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 km (6 mi) north-east of Warta BolesÅ‚awiecka, 13 km (8 mi) east of BolesÅ‚awiec, and 92 km (57 mi) west of the regional capital WrocÅ‚aw.

Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
