William "Will" Farquarson (born 22 September 1983) is an English musician. He plays electric guitar, bass, acoustic guitar and percussion instruments in the indie rock band Bastille.

At the Belsonic 2015 concert that Bastille played, lead singer revealed that Farquarson always ensured a bottle of Buckfast Tonic Wine was with him at every concert they performed at.

Recording career

Along with Bastille, Farquarson has recorded their debut album, Bad Blood, and extended version of the album, All This Bad Blood.

Bastille Emerge

After Dan Smith had been playing with Woody for just over a year, he met Will at one of his gigs.[1] Farquarson had shown great interest in Smith and Woody's music and was willing to become a bassist for the band.[2] The last member of Bastille was recruited by Dan Smith at a party. Kyle Simmons was hard to convince but Smith's perseverance paid off when Simmons joined in 2010.[3]

Bastille

Bastille have collaborated with many people such as Naughty Boy, Ella Eyre, Rudimental, Gabrielle Aplin and Angel Haze. Their singles Pompeii and Of the Night reached number two in the UK Charts in 2013.[4]
