Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Willi Dous (16 June 1916 – Fall 1941) [Note 1] was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Luftwaffe during World War II, and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.

  1. Date of death is disputed, according to Fellgiebel the date is 17 August 1941 while Das-Ritterkreuz.de lists the date as 2 August 1941. Scherzer states 2 September 1941.[1]
