William A. Armstrong was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s, playing at club level for Wakefield Trinity (Heritage #255), as a hooker, or second-row, i.e. number 9, or, 11 or 12.

Tour Match appearances

William Armstrong played hooker in Wakefield Trinity's 3-29 defeat by Australia in the tour match at Belle Vue, Wakefield on Saturday 22 October 1921.[1]
