William Dunkerley (priest)
William Herbert Cecil Dunkerley , MA was Archdeacon [1] of Singapore from 1902 until 1905.
Dunkerley was educated at Denstone College and Pembroke College, Cambridge;[2] and ordained in 1886. After curacies in Toxteth Park and Sigglesthorne,[3] he was Chaplain at Malacca and Penang before his time in Singapore. On returning to Europe he worked at Castlemorton, Bush Hill Park, Cannes, Sevenoaks and Leybourne.
He died on 21 August 1922.[4]
