William Grant Sherry (December 7, 1914 – January 5, 2003) was an American painter and artist.
Sherry studied at the Académie Julian in Paris and at Heatherley's School of Art in London.
Personal life
Sherry was married twice. His wives were:
- Bette Davis, the movie actress; they married in 1945 and divorced in 1950. The couple had one child, a daughter, Barbara Davis Hyman.
- Marion Delores Richards (born 1927), his daughter's nanny; they married on 6 August 1950.[1] They had two children: Jenny Michelle Sherry (born 1952, Mrs Daniel Peter Venegas) and John Grant Sherry (born 1955).
