William H. Jacobs

William Henry Jacobs (November 26, 1831September 11, 1882) was a Wisconsin legislator and banker.

Born in Holzen, Germany, Jacobs settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he became a banker and land owner. During the American Civil War, Jacobs was a colonel in the 26th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment. In 1876-1878, he served in the Wisconsin State Senate.[1][2]
