William Shakespeare's Star Wars: Verily, a New Hope is a closet drama parody by Ian Doescher, based on George Lucas's 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, but set to blank verse and written in the 16th-century style of William Shakespeare. It was first published in July 2013, and followed by two sequels: The Empire Striketh Back and The Jedi Doth Return.
