Wilma de Faria

The actor Antonio Banderas, first-lady of Brazil, Marisa Letícia, the president of Brazil, Lula da Silva, the actress Melanie Griffith, and the governor of the state of the Rio Grande do Norte, Wilma de Faria, in visit the Natal, capital of the Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, in December of 2007.

Wilma de Faria was the governor of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte from 2003 to 2010. She was the first woman to hold the position. She is a member of the Brazilian Socialist Party.[1]
