Wind power in Serbia

Wind power is a fledgling source of renewable energy in Serbia; nevertheless Green Star Alternative Energy, inc. has constructing the first wind farm in Serbia through its Belo Blato Wind Energy Project. The project is divided into 2 phases. The first phase includes a 20 megawatts (MW) wind farm which began operating in 2009. The second phase includes development of additional 300-MW of wind generated power.[1] The first wind farm is near Kula.
