The Winnipeg Manitoba Temple is a planned temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) to be constructed in Winnipeg, Manitoba.[2] The announcement was made by church president Thomas S. Monson on April 2, 2011, during the church's biannual general conference.
The temple's planned location or construction schedule has not been announced. The Winnipeg Manitoba Temple will be the ninth temple built in Canada and the first in Manitoba.
