Wolfgang Ries
Wolfgang Ries (born 1968) is an Austrian amateur astronomer and astrophotographer. He has discovered a large number of minor planets.[1]
Ries has his own private observatory[1] at Altschwendt.[2] The Minor Planet Center credits him with discovering 149 asteroids between 2004 and 2009.[3]
The asteroid (266887) Wolfgangries was named after him.[1]
