Women Economic Forum

Women Economic Forum (WEF) is an annual meeting ground for women leaders and entrepreneurs from all over the world. It is the largest such congregation of diverse women from around the world to enhance thought leadership and global friendship.

2015 Conference

The first edition of the WEF 2015 in May in Goa, India had over 400 women delegates from across 25 countries exchanging thoughts and fostering bonds. The theme was "Women: Harbingers of Change," with sessions spread over 5 days and 130 topics across plenaries, parallel sessions and roundtables.

Some of the eminent personalities at the forum were Chief Minister, Maharashtra, Shri. Devendra Fadnavis, Actress Vidya Balan, well-renowned director Madhur Bandarkar, Kiran Bedi, politician & retired IG; H.E. Dr. Burak Akcapar, Ambassador of Turkey; Sachin Pilot, Former MOS, GOI; Sara Pilot, Founder CEQUIN; Shazia Ilmi, political leader; Justina Mutale, African Woman of the Year; Zarina Stanford from IBM; Habil Khorakiwala of Wockhardt, Siddharth Zarabi of Bloomberg, and many more Indian and International leaders.

An eagerly awaited annual global happening in India, next year WEF will be held in New Delhi from 16 to 21 May and expected to have over 1200 women leaders and entrepreneurs from 75 countries.

The next year’s theme is "Women: uniting the world" through education, culture, technology, sustainable development, energy, innovation, entrepreneurship, finance, family, food, friendships et al.

The program is extensive with 290 sessions spread over 6 days and 5 nights across a range of plenary, parallel sessions and roundtables.

Dr. Harbeen Arora is the Global Chairperson of the Women Economic Forum, an initiative of the ALL Ladies League, a global women’s chamber and movement for the wellbeing, wealth and welfare of ALL.

A Sorbonne Alumna, she holds a PhD from University of Paris III, Sorbonne Nouvelle, and Masters from RADA and King’s College, London.
