Wood Water Records is an independent record label, founded by Anberlin and Anchor & Braille vocalist, Stephen Christian. The record label is distributed through Universal Music Group, of which Anberlin is signed to. The label's first release, Felt, is also the debut for Christian's acoustic act Anchor & Braille and was released on August 4, 2009.[1] In January 2007, a 7" Vinyl from Anchor & Braille was released online through Wood Water Records, technically making that the label's first release; however, Felt will be the first full-length studio album to be released by the label.[1][2] Anchor & Braille is the only artist currently signed to Wood Water Records to date, so it is unknown exactly what other types of genres the label will become involved with in the future.
