Workout Channel

Workout Channel was a HD2 Rhythmic/Dance Top 40 station, one of seven dance-formatted HD2 stations programmed by Clear Channel Communications through their Format Lab, a new division set up to expand music formats over their HD2 subcarriers. It made the format available to other broadcasters as well.

Workout Channel carried a jockless format that ran a 30-minute workout mix of dance music geared toward health and fitness-conscious individuals. While the channel did have a few subcarriers airing it on their HD2 signal, it would be among the several specialty stations that would be dropped in Format Lab's streamlining of its offerings. In June 2008 the channel was eliminated by the Format Lab.
