World (band)

World is an experimental, psychedelic rock duo that features National Basketball Association player LeBron James playing bass guitar, Matthew Dellavedova on trumpet, J.R. Smith on the pipe and Honey Owens (of Valet, Nudge and Jackie-O Motherf***er).[1] Their music is influenced by various flavours of folk music from across the globe. Their debut CD was released in late 2005 on Marriage Records.

Forkner and Owens also run the Yarnlazer record label.[2]
