The World Affairs Conference, commonly referred to as WAC, is Canada's oldest annual student-run current affairs conference.[1] Hosted annually at Upper Canada College in Toronto Canada, the conference typically attracts upwards of 800 students from Canada and abroad. WAC is open to any high school students and is typically held annually at the beginning of February. The conference attracted national and international attention in February 2015 for hosting Edward Snowden as keynote speaker, via video link from Russia.[2][3][4]
