World of Dance

World of Dance is a Cerritos, California based global media company founded by David Gonzalez, Herman Flores, and Myron Marten in 2008. Since then, World of Dance has then become an international urban dance competition that attracted more than 100,000 dancers and enthusiasts in more than 15 countries, spanning the United States, Europe, South America, Asia, and Canada. World of Dance has united the dance community to celebrate the lifestyle and culture of urban dance, art, and music. World of Dance also operates a multi-channel network on YouTube, with more than 300 channels and 20,000 videos in placement.

8 Flavahz at WODLA 2013

The World of Dance stage consists of dance crews, choreographers, and freestylers. Many of the groups that have competed or performed in World of Dance have also participated in some of the most popular nationally televised dance competitions such as America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC). In addition, all seven ABDC's champions—JabbaWockeeZ, Super Cr3w, Quest Crew, We Are Heroes, Poreotics, I.aM.mE, and Electrolytes—have participated in World of Dance either as competitors, judges, or guest performers.

Other crews and troupes who have been featured on ABDC such as 8 Flavahz, Kaba Modern, SoReal Cru, Phunk Phenomenon, Mos Wanted Crew, and Instant Noodles have also performed at the World of Dance.[17][18][19]

Notable dancers to have performed at various World of Dance events include: Gotham actress Camren Bicondova, Les Twins, Chachi Gonzales, Ian Eastwood, Kaelynn Gobert-Harris, Black-ish star Miles Brown, and SYTYCD Season 10 Male Winner Fik-Shun.
