Worried About Ray
"Worried About Ray" is the debut single by Reading pop rock band The Hoosiers. It is noted for its resemblance to The Turtles' 1967 hit "Happy Together".[1][2][3] The resemblance was enough to ensure that Alan Gordon and Garry Bonner, the writers of "Happy Together", are credited as co-writers.[4]
It was the first single to be released from the band's debut album The Trick to Life. It reached #16 on the UK Singles Chart on 24 June 2007 on downloads alone. The single climbed to #6 the following week with CD sales included and the song climbed one place to its peak chart position of #5 the following week. It also reached #4 on the download charts. The music video for the song is inspired by the American special effects pioneer Ray Harryhausen. It was used in the 18 March 2009 episode of Waterloo Road. Singer and songwriter Mutya Buena has also recorded and performed a live acoustic cover version for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge.

Music video
In the music video, the band are with "Ray", a monster movie director and creator. When creating another monster, that monster talks with him and tries to go after the Hoosiers but The Hoosiers defeat the monster.
