Distribution of L. wrightae[1] |
Wright's sportive lemur (Lepilemur wrightae), or the Kalambatritra sportive lemur, is a sportive lemur endemic to Madagascar. It is one of the larger sportive lemurs with a total length of about 52 to 64 centimeters, of which 24-27 centimeters are tail.[4] Wright's sportive lemur is found in southeastern Madagascar, living in primary and secondary mid-altitude forests.[4]
Originally named L. wrighti, the name was found to be incorrectly formed and was corrected to L. wrightae in 2009.[5]
