Xenohyla truncata is a species of frog in the Hylidae family endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist shrubland and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss. This frog is unique among amphibians in that it is the world's only fruit-eating frog. Fruit eating behavior is intrinsic, with fruit making up a significant percentage of the frogs' diets.
